Congressman-Elect Pete Stauber names Chief of Staff

Fourth Generation Iron Ranger will direct Stauber’s congressional offices
in Minnesota and Washington

HERMANTOWN – Congressman-Elect Pete Stauber named Minnesota native Desiree Koetzle today as his chief of staff. Koetzle, a 1998 graduate of Virginia Secondary School and 2003 graduate of St. Cloud State University, who holds a BA in Mass Communications and BS in Communication Studies, will oversee the Minnesota and Washington offices and serve as Stauber’s senior advisor.

“As a native of the Iron Range, Desiree understands the challenges working families face throughout northern Minnesota,” said Stauber. “Desiree’s experience in both Minnesota and Washington combined with her work ethic and leadership skills make her the ideal candidate to lead my team so we can best serve the constituents of the 8th district.”

Koetzle, who this fall was a senior advisor to the Pete Stauber for Congress campaign, has private sector experience and previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Rep. Erik Paulsen. Koetzle and her husband have two sons.

“I am honored to join Congressman-Elect Stauber and I look forward to assembling a team in his Washington and Minnesota offices that understands the priorities, issues, and concerns of residents in Minnesota’s 8th congressional district,” said Koetzle. “Pete is dedicated and determined to putting Minnesotans first and we will do all we can to advocate on their behalf in Congress and provide excellent constituent services here at home.”
