Pete Stauber for Congress Releases New TV Ad: “Isaac”

HERMANTOWN- Pete Stauber for Congress released a new TV ad:“Isaac”. Pete talks about the importance of requiring insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions so that all Minnesota families have access to affordable health insurance.

“My wife, Jodi and I are blessed to have a son who has Down syndrome,” said Stauber. “Isaac’s diagnosis presented a number of health challenges, including a pre-existing condition. I want to go to Congress to ensure Minnesotans have access to affordable, accessible and quality health insurance where no Washington bureaucrat gets in between a patients and their doctor.”

This ad will be airing on televisions district-wide.

Pete Stauber: My family knows firsthand the importance of affordable health insurance. Our son Isaac is the light of our lives. He’s faced numerous health challenges including a pre-existing condition and just like you we rely on our health insurance. That’s why I support requiring insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions Anyone telling you otherwise is lying. I’m Pete Stauber and I approve this message because in Congress I will always do what’s right for my family and yours.

Stauber’s candidacy was endorsed in recent days by the Duluth News Tribune, the largest newspaper in the 8th district, and ECM Newspapers and Adams Publishing which publish dozens of community newspapers throughout the region. On Tuesday, the Cook Political Report moved the race from “pure Toss-up to “Lean Republican.” The DCCC, the Democrat Congressional campaign arm that partnered with Radinovich to run negative, misleading attack ads against Stauber, redirected all of their TV funding away from the 8th district effectively giving up on Joe.
